Uhaitza is a charming campsite located in a green setting in Mauléon-Licharre, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Close to a river, this establishment allows you to enjoy all the joys of swimming on its beach and its natural pool. Young and old alike will also appreciate the beautiful outdoor swimming pool, ideal for swimming and relaxing.
During your vacation at the Uhaitza campsite, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of various leisure facilities such as the tennis table or the various sports fields. In the surrounding area you can go hiking, mountain biking or fishing. How to get there?
Station
At 30 kilometres from the campsite
By car: From Toulouse, take the A64 motorway, exit 9 Artix. From Spain and the Basque coast, take the A64. From Bordeaux, take the A63 and exit at junction 10, direction Bayonne, Père Horard, Saint Vincent de Tiros.
By train then by bus: The nearest stations (served by bus to Mauléon) are Oloron-Ste-Marie (35 km) and Bayonne (80 km).

The swimming pool is private and exclusively reserved for the campsite guests. Visitors are not allowed to enter the pool. Children can play in the pool accompanied by their parents. Swimming costumes, briefs or boxer shorts are compulsory, shorts and other clothing are not allowed in the pool. Unsupervised swimming: Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For a relaxing holiday, choose our campsites with heated pools. The river Saison is 10 metres from the campsite below, with its beach, pools and natural diving board. A shower is at your disposal.

We stayed ( British couple) in early September, so the site had few campers and we could spread out as much as we liked! Good big pitches with bushes or small trees between, right beside the river which was great for swimming, as soon as I'd got used to having a current. Not too far to explore further... into the Pyrenees, and 10 minutes easy cycle into town, which has all the shopping facilities you could need. Friendly and helpful owners, and very reasonable price even with electricity. The only possible downside is that the toilet/shower block, which is clean and modern but not extensive, might get busy in the high season, but was fine when we were there. Definitely recommended.

A lovely place to stay with a beautiful view on the river. A campsite that attracts cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. You can swim and fish in the river. The toilet facilities are good and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The places are partly shaded. Wifi is available at the bar. In... the bar there is a pool table, and a small library. For small children there is a playground separated by a fence. Good value for money

If you are looking for a small friendly family run campsite by a river you will not find better. There are 50 pitches and 7 chalets, extremely well kept and the river is crystal clear and extremely clean and a 2 minute walk from your pitch. The owners offer a free sangria every Sunday night and are... very helpful and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights and had such a relaxing time. There are many historical monuments to visit and lots of mountain walks, rafting excursions, cycling and very decent restaurants nearby. The price per night was only 20€. Free Wifi in the bar.

Attention, camping qui garde la caution sans avoir fait d'état des lieux bien que ce soit obligatoire et qui n'assume pas ! Pas de contact pour des explications . Et on refait le mobilier déjà défectueux à l'entrée, sur le dos des locataires. Facile .

Rien à dire sur ce camping, propriétaires et personnel juste adorables. Ils se donnent à font pour satisfaire leurs campeurs. Peut etre un petit debroussaillage pour l'accès à la rivière serais un petit plus mais cela ne nous a pas empêché d'y allez malgré tout et d'y passer de super moment.... Les emplaments sont grands et arborés, une piscine chauffée avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Nous avons passer de super vacances merci beaucoup.
