Uhaitza is a charming campsite located in a green setting in Mauléon-Licharre, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Close to a river, this establishment allows you to enjoy all the joys of swimming on its beach and its natural pool. Young and old alike will also appreciate the beautiful outdoor swimming pool, ideal for swimming and relaxing.

During your vacation at the Uhaitza campsite, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of various leisure facilities such as the tennis table or the various sports fields. In the surrounding area you can go hiking, mountain biking or fishing. In addition, this destination is the ideal starting point for visiting many emblematic places of the Basque Country such as the Holzarte and Kakuetta gorges, the Pierre-Saint-Martin abyss, and others.

The Uhaitza campsite offers practical services and facilities to simplify your stay. There is a bar, a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing room, bed linen and TV rental. Sanitary facilities for handicapped persons and a wifi access are also provided within the campsite.

How to get there?
Station
30km

By car: From Toulouse, take the A64 motorway, exit 9 Artix. From Spain and the Basque coast, take the A64. From Bordeaux, take the A63 and exit at junction 10, direction Bayonne, Père Horard, Saint Vincent de Tiros.
By train then by bus: The nearest stations (served by bus to Mauléon) are Oloron-Ste-Marie (35 km) and Bayonne (80 km).

The swimming pool is private and exclusively reserved for the campsite guests. Visitors are not allowed to enter the pool. Children can play in the pool accompanied by their parents. Swimming costumes, briefs or boxer shorts are compulsory, shorts and other clothing are not allowed in the pool. Unsupervised swimming: Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For a relaxing holiday, choose our campsites with heated pools. The river Saison is 10 metres from the campsite below, with its beach, pools and natural diving board. A shower is at your disposal.

I loved the small family campsite spirit. Always there if we're missing something, very human. Access to the river (with secure gates) delighted the children, who loved building dams before our very eyes. The campsite is particularly well planted with trees, which is very pleasant. I'd recommend it if you need nature and peace and quiet.
