Situated at the gateway to the Gorges du Verdon, 500 m from a lake where you can swim, the Domaine de Chanteraine campsite is ideally located for discovering the charms of Haute Provence and visiting the many villages in the region. Take advantage of the proximity of the lake for hiking, canoeing or simply swimming in the magnificent Lac de Sainte-Croix. From May to September (weather permitting), you can take advantage of the heated outdoor swimming pool (in low season) and children's paddling pool.
The whole family can enjoy a game of pétanque, volleyball, table football or table tennis.
The nearby lake also offers a whole range of activities: canoe hire, electric boats, pedalos, etc.
If you're a keen walker, there are two GR trails and numerous footpaths within easy reach of the campsite.
A host of services will make your stay more enjoyable, including a communal barbecue area, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi access.
The campsite's restaurant offers a typically Provençal setting and a breathtaking view of Lake Sainte-Croix. There is also a grocery shop and snack bar, ideal for running errands, reserving a morning baguette or enjoying a quick meal by the pool.
