Ideally situated in the heart of a 5-hectare wooded and flower-filled park, Les Gros Joncs campsite enjoys an exceptional location on the Ile d'Oléron, just 300 metres from a fine sandy beach lined with rocks (ideal for fishing) and 600 metres from a supervised beach in high season. Located in Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, the campsite makes it easy to discover the island's jewels, such as the famous Chassiron lighthouse, the Port des Salines and Fort Boyard, during a seaside getaway. For water fun, the campsite has a magnificent heated outdoor pool complex with slide and paddling pool (open from mid-May to mid-September), ideal for all the family.
When it comes to sports and entertainment, the campsite is perfectly equipped to please young and old alike, with a multi-sports pitch, archery range, table tennis and children's play area. For a dynamic and friendly holiday, the campsite offers family entertainment during the day and in the evening (sports tournaments, dance evenings, concerts), as well as a Mini-Club (free children's club) open during the spring school holidays and in the high summer season to keep the younger ones entertained. Just outside the campsite, guests have direct access to the island's extensive network of cycle paths, and can enjoy surfing, sailing or horse-riding nearby.
The campsite stands out for the outstanding quality of its services, designed to offer absolute comfort throughout the season (April to November). The campsite's major wellness asset is its accredited Spa / Fitness Centre, which houses an indoor swimming pool heated to 29°C with thalassotherapy facilities (whirlpool baths, jets), a hammam, and offers beauty treatments and massages (fee payable). To make everyday life easier for your guests, the campsite includes the "La Jonque" complex, with a traditional bar-restaurant and a mini-market stocked with fresh bread.
From May to September (weather permitting), you can enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool (progressive depth from 0.60m to 2m), the paddling pool and a slide (open in July and August) are all available for you to enjoy. In July and August, enjoy a refreshing drink at the pool bar. Take advantage of the indoor swimming pool dedicated to your well-being. Cool off in water at 28° and enjoy a counter-current for your fitness, anatomical benches for your relaxation and a geyser and water cannons to get rid of your daily tensions. This area is reserved for adults in the mornings and is open to the whole family in the afternoons (when the hydrotherapy facilities are not in use).
During the summer season (July/August), the atmosphere at La Jonchaie is festive. The bar-restaurant organises concerts, competitions, karaoke...

The bar-restaurant opens its doors from April to mid-September to offer you a simple, tasty and varied traditional cuisine based on fresh and local products of the moment to delight your taste buds.
