It’s a shame that the beach is quite a long walk away and consists only of boulders and pebbles. It’s absolutely impossible to swim because of the difference in height. The edge drops off steeply, and at high tide the difference in height is more than a metre.Otherwise, it’s great. The reception staff were friendly too – one person spoke fluent English, the other had a reasonable to good command of English, and information leaflets were also available in English.However, you do have to carry all the items from the cottage yourself, which is a bit of a nuisance. The local area does absolutely nothing to accommodate you. The restaurants were a nightmare – I didn’t come across a single one where they spoke any language other than French.
