The entertainment is top-notch, as are all the shops (bar, grocery shop, snack bar) It’s rare for all these places to stay open in September. The campsite is clean, as is our mobile home. I’d love to come back. Just one small thing to improve: fit a shower rail, as the floor is slippery, especially for older people.

In the Vendée, near the vast beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, set in 5 hectares of wooded grounds, the Riez à la Vie 4-star campsite welcomes you for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Make the most of your stay to explore the surrounding area. At the gateway to the islands, discover the Île d’Yeu with its picture-postcard scenery, Noirmoutier or the Puy du Fou theme park, just an hour away. On site: 1 heated indoor swimming pool, 1 heated outdoor swimming pool, 2 giant slides, 2 paddling pools, 3 solariums, a whirlpool, a sauna and a hammam.
During the spring and summer holidays, your children aged 4 to 10 are welcome every day at the kids’ club for a wide range of activities. In the evenings, there are themed nights, magic shows, bingo… You won’t have a moment to get bored.
To make your stay even more enjoyable, you’ll find a bar, a snack bar serving takeaway meals (sandwiches, roast chicken, chips, pizzas, grilled dishes, etc.) and a grocery shop selling bread, pastries and newspapers.

The campsite has three aquatic areas: The first, covering 200m², features a large unheated outdoor swimming pool, a paddling pool and a sunbathing area where you can relax. A second area with a heated indoor pool and a heated paddling pool, as well as a sauna, steam room and hot tub (for adults only) There is also a third area with two further heated outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, a lazy river, a heated paddling pool, a sunbathing area and seven water slides, including one with rings for the enjoyment of young and old alike. The water parks at the campsite in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez are open: from 10.00 to 19.00 daily from 3 April 2027 to 27 June 2027 and from 30 August 2027 to 12 September 2027 from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm every day from 28 June 2027 to 29 August 2027 The slides are open daily from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm until the water park closes, The outdoor pool (excluding the slides) is open from 1 May 2027 to 31 August 2027 and is heated from 1 July 2027 to 31 August 2027. Other important information: Wristbands are compulsory, Please observe the safety instructions displayed near the pools, Relaxation area reserved for adults (access with keys available from reception), Only the following swimwear is permitted in the pools: swim shorts, swim briefs, bikinis and one-piece swimsuits, Swim nappies must be worn by all children under the age of 3 in the aquatic area.

From April to September, the campsite offers a family entertainment programme during the day and evening. On the programme: Aqua-fun, muscle-building, sports tournaments, fitness classes, pétanque competitions, happy hour and themed evenings.
Mini-club opening times :
- April school holidays from Monday to Friday for 4-6 year olds in the morning and 7-10 year olds in the afternoon.
- July and August holidays from Monday to Friday for 4-10 year-olds.
