Facilities Landal Hunerwold State
Landal Hunerwold State offers a wide range of facilities for a pleasant stay. At reception, you can get tips on the best hiking and cycling tours in the region. The detached, modern holiday homes have a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace and some have a sauna for extra comfort. Especially in the evenings, it is wonderful to relax in your own accommodation and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Children can really let off steam in the park on the playground and the large air trampoline. For active guests, there is a bike hire service so that you can easily explore the beautiful surroundings. There are also several hiking trails that start directly from the park and take you through the beautiful landscape of Drenthe.
There is a natural swimming lake with a small sandy beach right next to the park, which is perfect for cooling off on warm days. Here you can enjoy a relaxing swim or simply relax in the sun.

Landal Hunerwold State itself does not have its own restaurant, but there are several restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area that offer regional specialities. Alternatively, you can prepare your own meals in your own holiday accommodation and enjoy them on your terrace. Fireworks policy
In the Netherlands, private fireworks are prohibited. This means that setting off any kind of fireworks is forbidden and is monitored by the park. This park is therefore particularly suitable during the festive season for guests with pets or young children who do not like fireworks. The region is home to the traditional ‘carbide shooting’, a New Year’s Eve tradition that is also listed as intangible cultural heritage. We are unable to monitor or influence compliance with the fireworks ban outside the holiday park.
