Announcement regarding the Veenhoop Festival (23–26 July 2027)
The Veenhoop Festival will take place near the park from 23 to 26 July 2027. Please bear the following information in mind during your stay: Noise disturbance: noise levels may be higher both during the day and at night until around 02:00. Security & access to the park: the holiday park will be monitored 24 hours a day throughout the festival weekend and will be fenced off. Visiting the festival: Guests at the park can collect entry passes in advance. These do not grant access to the entire festival site, but do grant access to a specially reserved area in the marquee (for local residents, local business owners and guests at the surrounding holiday parks).
Fireworks policy
In the Netherlands, private fireworks are banned and you are not permitted to set off any kind of fireworks. The park does not carry out checks, so we cannot guarantee a completely quiet and fireworks-free night. The region is home to the traditional ‘carbide shooting’ – a New Year’s Eve tradition that is also listed as intangible cultural heritage. It is also possible that fireworks may be set off in the immediate vicinity of the park.
