In the pleasant Utrecht village of Leersum lies the car-free Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin. The park is surrounded by the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park.
Facilities of Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin
There is plenty to experience at the park, including many sports activities. For example, you will find an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (open from 15 May to 15 September), bowling alleys, a sports field and children's entertainment during school holidays. You are also provided with conveniences such as a supermarket, bicycle rental and internet access. The supermarket has limited opening hours in the low season from early November to late March.

Especially for the youngest, Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin has children's entertainment during school holidays. The children's entertainment would not be half as much fun without Molly and Caatje, the mascots of the holiday park. The kids have the greatest fun with these fluffy children's friends, doing crafts, games and cooking! Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin also features the indoor playground Rinkel de Ginkel and the castle-like Ridder Roelof playground with towers, bridges, rope ladders and slides!

Let yourself be pampered culinarily during your holiday on Landgoed Ginkelduin. Take a seat in the restaurant of the bungalow park. For a quick snack, visit the snack corner. In the Ginkel garden with brasserie, you can overlook the indoor swimming pool and enjoy a delicious lunch. The catering establishments have limited opening hours from early November to late March.
Surroundings Molecaten Park Landgoed Ginkelduin
The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is a versatile nature area. You will see forests, sandy plains, rivers and lakes, moors, heaths and the levees that make up the Utrecht Ridge. Besides this beautiful nature, the province of Utrecht has more to offer. Visit a museum or enjoy culinary delights in Amersfoort and Utrecht. Visit the Flipje and Streekmuseum in Tiel, for example, or discover Utrecht's nightlife with its many pubs and outdoor cafes. Are you on holiday with children? The area offers lots of fun for the young ones. For example, go to the Dick Bruna House in Utrecht or let them romp around in the indoor playground the Schatkids in Veenendaal. Animal parks such as Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen or Dierenpark Amersfoort are highly recommended.

Children's tourist tax
Please note that if you stay for less than 28 nights, there is no more tourist tax to be paid for children up to the age of 12. You will find this charge on the park's invoice.
Reservations from companies
Commercial accommodation is not allowed You accept that Molecaten will terminate the agreement prematurely and not grant a reduction on the agreed price if the site or holiday accommodation is used for other than recreational purposes.
Booking on arrival day
Reservations on the day of arrival can be made no later than 12:00. Please note that check-in times are between 16:00 and 17:00. Arriving at the park later than 17:00 is not possible.
Occupation (baby)
Please note that when staying with baby, the maximum occupancy of the accommodation may not be exceeded.
Parking fee 2nd car
The parking fee for a possible 2nd car in the car park is €4.80 per night
