Lovely setting right in the centre. Very sweet manager on site! Cooking utensils are in need of replacement but that was the only thing! We will definitely come back!

Facilities at UplandParcs Dumel

The holiday homes consist of three different bedrooms, two of which are equipped with double beds and one with a bunk bed. The holiday home is equipped with all the amenities you need for a family holiday with up to 6 people. Four-legged friends are also welcome in the holiday complex. The house also has its own balcony and a storage room where you can store bikes and ski equipment. E-bikes can also be charged safely and conveniently in the storage room.

The UplandParcs Dumel holiday park is located in a quiet area on the edge of Winterberg town centre. The holiday park is the perfect starting point for many activities in the town and the Sauerland region. Be sure to visit one of the town's most famous sights - the St. Georg ski jump. Did you know that Winterberg is home to the largest interconnected ski area north of the Alps? Take advantage of the proximity of the ski area for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing. But Winterberg also has a lot to offer in summer. For hiking enthusiasts, there are guided hikes with varying degrees of difficulty. And of course you can also explore the beautiful countryside on your own

Positive experience:
The location is great, the city centre is just a few minutes' walk away.
Although we received an extra email informing us that we should bring a sponge, tea towels, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid, there was still a small selection available.

Points for improvement:
The children's bunk bed was very wobbly.
The heating was off on arrival, which is why it was very cold and only really warm after several hours.
The house number didn't match the one in the email, which is why we didn't know where to go at first.

The cottage was well equipped including a dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine. It was clean and the beds were already made. There was a nice welcome pack for the dog. The cottage is at walking distance from the centre.
