The park's location directly on the Meuse is ideal for long walks along the water. Water sports fans will also get their money's worth: how about a relaxing tour in a hired whisper boat? The charming centre of Maaseik is just 10 minutes away by bike - perfect for exploring the historic buildings and the old market square. There are even more excursion destinations waiting for you nearby: Visit the oldest private pharmacy in Belgium or shop to your heart's content in the Maasmechelen Village Outlet. Nature lovers should not miss the Mynekomplas - an idyllic piece of nature directly behind the campsite where, with a bit of luck, you can watch beavers in the evening.
