Vakantiepark Sandberghe is a small, nature-oriented holiday park near Uden in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The park is situated between the sand dunes of Bedaf and the extensive nature reserve... De Maashorst. Thanks to its peaceful setting and varied facilities, Sandberghe is particularly well-suited to families who want to combine nature with shared activities. Whilst the children let off steam on the playground or in the swimming pool, you’ll also find plenty of opportunities to relax in the park.
Facilities at Sandberghe Holiday Park
At Sandberghe Holiday Park, you’ll find a range of leisure activities to ensure a varied holiday. You can play table tennis or jeu de boules, or challenge yourself on the giant chessboard. Pedal go-karts are also available for hire. For moments of relaxation, there’s a barrel sauna available for up to four people. It’s particularly cosy around the fire pits or in the communal outdoor kitchens, where you can have a barbecue. If you’d like to bring your own horse, you can also make use of the holiday park’s horse hotel, where horses can be accommodated during your stay. For cycle tours of the surrounding area, you’ll find a bike hire service within walking distance at De Mastworp.
Facilities for children at Vakantiepark Sandberghe
Vakantiepark Sandberghe offers plenty of space for children to play and explore. In the large outdoor play area near the Huyskamer, they can, amongst other things, swing on a bird’s nest swing, climb ropes and play with sand and water. During the Dutch school holidays, as well as at Easter, Ascension Day and Whitsun, the Doe & Ontdek team organises various activities such as crafts, games and group nature discovery tours. The vegetable garden is also part of the family programme: here, children can see what’s growing and help water the plants.
Vakantiepark Sandberghe Swimming Pool
On warm holiday days, the outdoor swimming pool at Vakantiepark Sandberghe is the perfect place to cool off. The solar-heated pool complex consists of a larger swimming pool, approximately 1.40 metres deep, and a separate paddling pool for young children. Sun loungers and seating are available around the swimming pool, so you can relax in between swims. The water temperature depends partly on the weather, as the pools are heated by solar energy. The swimming pool is accessible exclusively to park guests and is unsupervised.
Restaurant at Vakantiepark Sandberghe
For a snack or a drink, you can pop into the Huyskamer during your stay. Right next to Vakantiepark Sandberghe is De Bedafse Pier, at the foot of the Bedafse Bergen. Here you can, amongst other things, have breakfast or brunch, lunch, a drink or dinner. Thanks to its location right in the heart of nature, a visit can easily be combined with a walk or a cycle ride. In the wider area around Sandberghe, you’ll also find various restaurants and brasseries.

The location is one of Vakantiepark Sandberghe’s great strengths. From the holiday park, you can explore the De Maashorst nature reserve and the Bedaf sand dunes on foot or by bike. Woodlands, heathland and varied landscapes offer plenty of opportunities for active family days out. Nearby, you’ll also find De Mastworp, which offers bike hire and a climbing park with various courses and zip lines. For a family day out, you might want to visit, for example, Zie-Zoo Animal Park, Groenhoeve Children’s Farm or Vorstenbosch Alpaca Farm.
