Close to the beach. And in bad weather, there is a table tennis table and pool table in the lovely spacious hall which is great fun for growing children.
Areas of improvement:
You used to be able to order sandwiches for breakfast which were then hung on the knob of the outside door at 09.00. A very good service that is no longer possible now.
The restaurant had limited opening last year but you could eat delicious pancakes. Now it was completely closed and you had to go to Nes. Where they no longer had pancakes either. We took the bus to the pancake restaurant in Hollum where they also had good pancakes. But that was much more cumbersome

Due to the problems experienced by Wagenborg Passenger Services with the shipping channels on the Wadden Sea, the ferry timetable to Ameland is changing with effect from 27 June 2023. This means fewer sailings to and from Ameland. Ameland will remain accessible, only there will be fewer departures than usual from 27 June.
