Very friendly staff and never had such a clean cottage maybe dated but we thought it was fine

Areas for improvement:
Very rude owner/manager. Not normal how we were treated. Really very rude. Children were also snapped at reception.

Beautiful park and nice location

Areas of improvement:
Promised Wifi was not there even though it is very important for choosing where to go.
Receptionist not very friendly on departure.
Owner friendly but a bit strange in his dealings.

Positive experience:
Friendly staff. Situated in the middle of nature. Food in restaurant is fine and very cosy.

Points of improvement:
Cottages are out of date. Beds too small for today's people and the mattresses were very bad (spirals in back, very painful) So I put 2 duvets on the mattress to get some sleep. 6 person cottages could be better used for 4 and the cottages really need to be refurbished and not just touched up. Was now the seventh time we were there but is also the last time.
