Schiermonnikoog is the smallest inhabited island of the Netherlands. Immerse yourself in the real Dutch atmosphere and have a fantastic holiday with your family or friends. Schiermonnikoog is a real bike island; you can ride for hours along the bike trails and beach paths.

Facilities Strandresort Schier
Strandresort Schier offers luxurious holiday cottages for groups of 4, 6 or 8. The cottages are spacious, modern and comfortable. Almost all apartments have a balcony or terrace. There’s also a wellness centre with an indoor pool and sauna. Strandresort Schier is surrounded by beach, shops, restaurants and also features an outdoor pool.

Children can have plenty of fun in the swimming pool of the park, and the centre is not far away, so you can easily take a stroll and pick up some ice cream on the way!

Restaurants Strandresort Schier
Strandresort Schier does not have a restaurant, but in the village centre - 300 metres from the park - you can find some welcoming restaurants, snack bars and pubs, as well as a supermarket. Of course you can also prepare meals in the kitchen of your cottage.

Surroundings Strandresort Schier
Schiermonnikoog is the smallest of the inhabited Wadden Sea islands, and the culture reflects the familiar, intimate and traditional character of the island. You can rent bicycles and explore the island, or spend the way walking along the beach. Schiermonnikoog is also known for its diverse array of bird species; discover known and unknown birds and spend an eventful day on the island before returning to your cottage to relax.
