The Ter Hosterzand nature reserve, Orvelterzand and Sleenerzand forestry are close by. You can soak up culture in the museum village of Orvelte, about 2 kilometres from Landal Orveltermarke. This typical village in Drenthe gives you a good idea of what it was like 100 years ago. A visit to Ellert and Brammert is also highly recommended.
