Ligging in de bossen
Ligging dicht bij snelwegen = altijd hoor je auto's
jammer dat je voor de toegang tot het nationaal park betalen moet. dit was niet vermeld en dus voor ons een tegenvaller.

Review of "EuroParcs De Hooge Veluwe" 7.0
Het was een mooi park midden tussen de bossen en dichtbij attracties die wij wilde bezichtigen. Voldoende ruimte om de deur en natuurlijk een park met een zwembad. Op het park was alles lopend te doen.
De staat van het zwembad en de controle op het gebruik.
Het zwembad was voor ons het meest belangrijke van het verblijf omdat we met een meisje van 4 jaar nog niet de hele dag naar een openluchtzwembad wilden gaan. Het buitenbad is heel erg leuk en voor iedere leeftijd iets, maar deze was helaas onverwarmd en ondanks de 24 graden was dit echt te fris. Het binnenbad was lekker warm, zowel het water als de omgeving. Jammergenoeg ging het bad pas om 10 uur open en pas om half 11 mochten kinderen zwemmen. Voor mijn dochter ( die om half 7 naast haar bed staat) was dit laat, zeker omdat we ook nog weg wilden. Ook ging het bad om 8 uur 's avonds al weer dicht, waardoor wij na kinderbedtijd niet nog even konden zwemmen. Er was geen toezicht in het zwembad. Ik vind dat je zelf op je eigen kinderen moet passen dat een ander daar niet verantwoordelijk voor kan worden gehouden, maar ik ben niet verantwoordelijk voor andere kinderen. Er mocht niet gesprongen worden in het water en ballen waren niet toegestaan. Het zag er dagelijks blauw van de ballen en om de ballen en springende kinderen moest je echt slalommen. Je moet je van te voren afspoelen, maar dat deed de jeugd bijna niet. Maar toen wij onze haren wilde wassen na het zwemmen bleek dit niet toegestaan ( was er ineens wel controle in het zwembad). Nergens heb ik terug kunnen vinden dat dit niet mocht en de toonzetting was ook niet zo leuk. Neemt niet weg dat een zwembad bij het huisje natuurlijk luxe is en we wel heerlijk hebben genoten van het water, toch maar mooi gratis en voor niets.

We zaten naast het zwembad met twee kinderen, wat kan daar nou niet positief aan zijn. Het huisje was netjes en ruim genoeg voor 4 personen ( met baby en campingbedje). In tegenstelling tot wat ik eerder gelezen heb, was het schoon, maar wij hadden natuurlijk een eigen toilet en hoefden niet naar openbare voorzieningen. Bijna alles wat in het dagelijks gebruik voor ons nodig was, was aanwezig en ik heb prima geslapen.
Overdreven om er over te vallen, maar ik miste de waterkoker. We gebruiken het koffiezetapparaat niet, maar daarintegen willen we graag nescafe drinken en bv een soepje. Gelukkig kan je water ook opwarmen in de magnetron ( die makkelijk te bedienen was) dus praten we meer over een luxe probleem. En het campingbedje paste maar met veel moeite op de kinderkamer. Dat was steeds wat kunst en vliegwerk, maar toegegeven als het niet erger is als dit.... Eigenlijk geen klagen eigenlijk.

Het was fijn dat de auto in de buurt van het huisje kon staan. het park was erg netjes en groen.
Er was voor het gezin weinig te doen! iets wat je met het hele gezin kan doen.

In het huisje hebben we het op een paar kleine dingen na erg naar ons zin gehad.
Er miste een douche deur, dat was vervelend. (natte douche)
huisje was ook niet helemaal schoongemaakt. achter de vuilnisbak en de plintjes en spinrag aan het [plafon, ramen waren erg smerig!!!!!

Lekker rustig...en erg kindvriendelijk met veel speeltoestellen. Leuke animatie met een kok.
Het geluid van de autowegen en het beperkte assortiment van de parkwinkel en het te kleine zwembad (zowel binnen als buiten).

De stand van het chalet was erg mooi....aan een ruim veldje, prettig voor de kinderen. Wat ook erg prettig was, dat ons chalet NIET aan de doorgaande weg van het park lag....lekker rustig en veilig voor de kinderen. Het chalet was erg compleet ingericht met vaatwasser en koelvries-combinatie en combi-magnetron. (type g chalet)
Helaas waren onze ramen NIET schoongemaakt bij aankomst en we misten een broodrooster en een DVD speler voor de kinderen. En helaas waren er ook GEEN standenstoelen aanwezig bij de tuinset...dit is wel een pré voor een luxe chalet.
