About De Grote Geere
Apartment complex De Grote Geere is located on Walcheren, one of the most beautiful islands in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The world-famous Delta Works, the beautiful nature and the picturesque villages all make this island well worth a visit.
Facilities at De Grote Geere
De Grote Geere consists of 6 luxury apartments and 1 holiday home. The nice thing about these luxury apartments is that they’re contained in a fully renovated farmhouse. The old beams and fireplace with old Dutch tiles have all been preserved. Each accommodation has a spacious and luxurious kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and a coffee machine. The bathrooms are also luxurious, equipped with a toilet, shower and/or bath and a sink. All furniture in the house is antibacterial, and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy the garden or the terrace next to each apartment. In addition to this, there’s free Wi-Fi and free parking at the apartments.
Surroundings of De Grote Geere
Apartment complex De Grote Geere is located on the beautiful island of Walcheren in Zeeland. The coast is just a fifteen minute drive away, where you can visit the stunning beach and have a drink on the terrace of one of the many cosy beach bars. On the island you can visit many nice picturesque villages, including Oostkapelle and Domburg. Larger cities such as Middelburg and Vlissingen are also worth a visit, where you can find many nice restaurants and cafes and enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. Do you love mussels? Then you’re in the right place!. Zeeland mussels have a specific taste and a firm bite, served in almost every restaurant on the island. Westhove Castle is less than a 10-minute drive from De Grote Geere, and dates from the 1300s, and has been rebuilt several times - it’s definitely worth a visit. Zeeland is also known for the Delta Works. In Deltapark Neeltje Jans you can learn everything about the Delta Works: from the flood disaster to the construction of the magnificent structures. Exhibitions, films and a visit to the dam will give visitors an impression of just how powerful water can be. Cycling and walking enthusiasts are also at the right place on the island. For beautiful cycling and walking routes, take a detour through the Manteling Nature Reserve, where the forests, dunes and winding paths give you a wonderful snapshot of the beauty of the island. The special thing about this area is that the deciduous trees grow close to the coast.

HolidayParkSpecials charges no fees, however, it may be that the park charges an additional fee (depending on the type of change). If the park does charge change fees, the costs will always be discussed with you.
Any booking made can be cancelled using a link provided in the confirmation email. If you no longer have the confirmation email, please contact our Service Desk by calling +31 23-3024901 (10 cents p/m).
Please note: in most cases, the holiday park will charge a cancellation fee, and the amount of this fee will depend on how late you cancel the booking.
